THIS POSITION IS CONTINGENT UPON BID AWARD

The Course Instructor XP will support the Plan & Programs Directorate (XP) in development, execution, and analysis of course instruction.

Responsibilities

  • Leads the training and implementation of the Objectives and Key Results (OKR) goal-setting framework across Technical and Functional Directorates within the Air Force Research Laboratory (AFRL).
  • Drives the development of measurable objectives directly aligned with the AFRL Commander's Lines of Effort and establishes key results to track progress and ensure achievement of these objectives.
  • Provides comprehensive training to organizational leaders on OKR concept development, aligning individual and team goals with the AFRL mission, fostering collaborative engagement to achieve mission-critical outcomes and resulting an OKR culture embedded across AFRL.
  • Develops and delivers a comprehensive OKR product, encompassing platform selection (if applicable), implementation guidance, performance metric review processes, outcome analysis, and follow-on training.
  • The product should facilitate alignment with DAF policies, directives, instructions, and organizational leadership structure.
  • Recommendations for platform utilization, training content, and performance analysis methodologies may be required.
  • Instruct students across multiple approved educational platforms and settings (i.e. in-resident or virtual course offerings) which may include the Continental United States travel and Outside Continental United States travel.
  • Develop course material and administer tests and input material into approved platforms.
  • Participate in consultation efforts and attend or participate in workshops, conferences, technical interchanges or similar venues as approved by the Government on a case-by-case basis.

Qualifications

  • Master's Business Administration (MBA) or Program Management
  • Minimum ten (10) years related experience OR
  • Master's Degree
  • Minimum twenty (20) years of experience in the respective technical/professional discipline
  • Minimum ten (10) years experience in the DoD OR
  • Bachelor's Degree
  • Minimum twenty five (25) years of experience in the respective technical/professional discipline
  • Minimum ten (10) years experience in the DoD OR
  • Minimum twenty five (25) years related experience
  • Minimum ten (10) years of experience the DoD
  • Possess an Active Secret Clearance


Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
  • Experience developing, implementing, and accessing Objectives and Key Results.
  • Familiarity with alignment to DoD/DAF policies, directives, instructions, and organizational leadership structure.
